Question / Help OBS won't start

I must be missing something but I've tried the latest Mac build on three different Mac computers and OBS will not start if I am clicking the icon from the /Applications folder or Launchpad. It goes through the Apple "Verifying" dialog and then prompts me to see if I'm "sure I want to open it." Then, after I click Open, it fails immediately.

Interestingly, If I launch if from within the DMG file that was mounted and downloaded from the OBS site, it starts just fine. Can anyone please tell me why it's not starting after installed in /Applications?
