OBS won't record my game!

so, I have recently installed OBS. i finally got it to show my game (Minecraft, if that'll be any help) and it kept giving me this error:
"NVENC Error: nvEncGetEncodePresetConfig failed: 16 (NV_ENC_ERR_INVALID_VERSION"
if you can help, that'd be great, after all, I'll be restarting my channel, soon, and the bug will make it take longer to set up. thanks!
