Question / Help OBS won't recognize video source (Roland Switcher)

Hey Problem Solvers, I'm trying to setup a Facebook Live stream and can't get OBS Studio to recognize a Roland VR-50HD as the video source.
My Macbook Pro recognizes the switcher, but OBS is only giving me the built-in webcam as a source option. The switcher connects via USB 3.0.

Latest log file is attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do other ordinary apps that use a camera all recognize the switcher-- QuickTime, Skype, etc?

From the log it appears that OBS is only recognizing it as an audio source.

I did a quick scan of the Roland VR-50HD manual, and it says there's no drivers required.

If that's the case, when you have the Roland connected, fire up FaceTime and check the Video Menu. Does it list the Roland under the "Camera" section?

Here's a suggestion:
What if you try either the PGM [HDMI] out or AUX [HDMI] out and send it to a Magewell dongle?
Then OBS should read your device as another Webcam via the USB 3.0.
