Question / Help OBS won't recognize "Video Capture Device" on MacBPro

New Member
New to OBS and just got my first capture card for PS4. Can't seem to figure out how to add the capture card as a source. Everything works with Elgato's Game Capture software, but can't seem to figure out how to get it working with OBS.

Any help appreciated.

MacBookPro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)
MacOS Mojave (v.10.14.5)

Use Elgato's software, replace the device, or boot into Windows. Elgato does not provide MacOS drivers for several of their cards, and misabel it as "supports MacOS" and "supports OBS" without bothering to mention, "does not support OBS on MacOS".
