OBS won't pick up my Elgato how do I fix it?

Elgato does not provide drivers that work with OBS for any of their devices except the camlink.

Because Elgato made it so you can't. It's not something we can fix.

You can use the window capture option if you use the Elgato, but you won't get great quality in terms of resolution or frame rate. That might work okay depending on what you're streaming. I started out that way.
