For the microphone problem, I can't hear my voice from the recording if I set the audio monitoring to off despite OBS picks up my voice. But if I don't set the audio monitoring to off, I can hear my voice from the recording. But I'm also able to hear my own voice as I record which is quite annoying. As for the black bars problem, no matter what base canvas resolution I set, the black bars will always appear. The black bars will be on the left and the right side of my screen when I'm using display capture, but it will appear at the top and the bottom of my screen if I'm using window capture.
OBS won't pick up my microphone and I have black bars when recording.
