Question / Help OBS won't game capture

Recently OBS has stopped capturing game footage entirely. The option that works at this point is display capture while anything under game capture doesn't. I get an all black window and all audio gets recorded but no visuals. It used to work fine until I updated it and I've tried reinstalling so I'm not sure if I'm just dumb or the software is broken at the moment

Why does the log only show you trying to capture discord?

That was the specific window I was originally trying to capture but the last recording I did was a small windowed game that I've done before and all audio picked up fine. The reason why I was doing discord was that its windowed so I could see if it was actually picking it up or not. I also have no idea why it tried recording it so many times

Discord can't be captured with game capture.

Your log shows OBS capturing the target game properly.

If it's not working, try with hearthstone or heroes of the storm

I don't play either of those games but I have tried with Minecraft and it flat out isn't working. If OBS has been updated to only work for certain games then I have no reason to use it anymore because every game I have tried recording with it gives me a black screen with only audio.
