obs won't capture some games

maybe because one game is old idk but one isn't it sometimes won't capture older games such as shogun total war (came out in 2000) and it won't capture this game called move or die (released in 2016) are there fixes for this?

also is there a hot key i can press to trigger obs to record while im in game so I can record multiple vids in one sitting and is there an overlay to indicate that its recording?

The old laptop GPU assignment method (through the nVidia/AMD control panel) no longer works, due to changes made by Microsoft in Win10 1903 and later.
