First question from me here..im from Brazil and my English is not that good so im sorry.
Last night I was streaming with OBS for Instagram. Used instagramfeed.me to get stream key.
Im a musician so I was streaming a show with my guitar and a microfone.
I have a MacBook Pro retina 13, late 2012 with 8gb ram and intel I5 also I usa M-AUDIO Fast Track Pro to get the guitar and mic sound.
Using the iPhone 8 camera to get the video with mirror scream because Instagram resolution is 9:16 and my MacBook webcam can't turn.
I produce te effects and the setup for the sound on GARAGE BAND and with Soundflower and Blackhole I throw the sound on OBS. It works Perfect without latency between what I hear and the stream.
My problem start when I have a pre record video to play with at the same time.
When I first try to play with the video ( I add the video on my scene on OBS with a media add source) my sound is out of sync with the video. The video is ahead of me all time. So I tried to add a window capture with quick time, and play the video on quick time, got worse, now the sound and the image is laggy clutching and skipping...
So back to add media source on OBS. I tried to use a filter ASYNC on it..put 50ms delay and works from my recording. Everything sync perfectly!
Time go live....The sound is great, no latency from me, good resolution and all.
But when the time to play the pre record video come, it didn't work to wel.. the video is lagging, skipping frames, sometimes sync sometimes out of sync, in and out all the time...
How can I fix it ?? On my record everything work, but for the livestream its out of sync, what I play and the pre record video..When I play mys solo acoustic session its fine. My Iphone video and my sound ( garage band) is sync. The problem is the pre record video.
My video is 720p (700mb-900mb) 3min-4min .
My OBS is set to 540x960 30FPS video output, 96kb sound, bitrate 5000 Kbps
My internet has 240mb, with 25-27 mb of upload.
Questions
1-What im doing wrong?
2-What can I do tho sync my video with me?
3- There are some plugins that can fix this?
4- Can I use my iPhone without mirror scream? I want to use as a camera only, don't need to see his screen, like my WhatsApp and etc..
