obs will not pick up my capture card pls help!

i plug in my capture card to the pc as instructed and i want to record x box footage. whenever i try to find my device in sources only the OBS virtual camera comes up, i cannot find a thread anywhere covering this. Any ideas? pls help!!!

same here in Windows 10 64-bit platform. I am using 26.02 version
 
found my problem. in the Windows 10 settings, I turned off my Video camera and Microphone settings because i never used any of those until i installed OBS. so when i turned on the camera and microphone settings, the OBS automatically detects the camera being plugged in. maybe the OP can check the settings if it is turned off.
