Question / Help OBS will not install after several attempts

First download, I got this message (screenshot):

I tried to power down and restart and still got above. I uninstalled and reinstalled OBS for Mac. It still will not install, only now .... after uninstall, I get this message (screenshot):

The first error indicates that your user folder has a permissions problem; an installer being run by your user account does not have permission to create a folder it needs to create.

The second indicates either a corrupt download or some other similar problem.

This computer potentially has bigger problems than an inability to install OBS, even if you don't see other evidence of it yet.

Can you install other software? If OBS is the only program that has this problem, delete your installers and download again.
