I have been livestreaming my music project recently using a Behringer UMC1820 DAC for my hardware and vocals, Ableton Live 10, & OBS. Because I have a Macbook Pro, I have to also use iShowU audio capture. Last night I streamed a show which at times sounded good but would pop and then throw everything off. Primarily I have a backing track on Ableton and I'm singing and playing synthesizers over top. Anything going into the UMC would have almost a second of a delay before I could here it, which made it very hard to pay to the backing track. Also, the sound would get crackly and sound overdriven temporarily before fixing itself. The hardware and software seem to be on seperate paths. Sometimes I don't know whether to choose UMC1820 or Multi for audio input/output and I don't know what my monitoring device should be, yesterday it was set to the UMC1820, should it be set to audio capture? Before this stream I did one back in April with the DAC being a Scarlett Focusrite and everything turned out great. Does anyone know what the ideal settings should be for each OBS parameter. On Ableton I've been choosing my input as UMC1820 and my output as MULTIOUT.
