obs-visca-control plugin

Hi. Brand new user of OBS. Sussing out our system at home before installing it in our church. I have a birddog P200 with a Netgear POE switch and a relatively recent well-configured Macbook Pro.

I installed the obs-visca-control plugin so that I could move the camera to a preset on a scene switch. In the end I'm not sure I can use this since I don't want to show the camera movement when I switch scenes. I guess I'm hoping i can put a scene into some sort of preview before I actually switch to it live, so the camera movement will be hidden. Although that's not the problem at hand, I'd love to hear your suggestions. I know I can make it work using NDI Video Monitor to recall presets, but it would be nice to have it all contained into OBS somehow.

The problem is that camera preset on scene change just stops working, and I have to open the script properties, hit the default button, and put the camera and presets back into the properties. Then it starts to work again. I don't know what triggers it to stop working. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Howie

OK... I figured out that whenever I exit and restart OBS, the visca presets no longer work. It's like they don't persist between sessions. That seems kind of useless. Does everyone have this experience?
