I have a Atem mini pro and when I use this as a virtual webcam in WebRTC video based applications it works perfectly. Nice and sharp (as much as possible).
For an event I need t reduce the size of the feed as it gets cut on the sides otherwise (bad UX in the application where it zooms in rather than keeps the ratio the same). Anyway, I use OBS for this and this works fine. It runs on a Macbook Pro (32Gb, fast, ...). It obviously loses some quality/sharpness.
What parameters can improve the output quality of the virtual webcam OBS? Would it help to use an external eGPU like Blackmagic device?
