OBS Virtual Camera not working

I work using the virtual camera but today it just wouldnt work, it was like chrome didnt recognize that i had it turned on, I tried reinstalling everyhting but I still had the same problem. I tried using another browser like operagx and had the same issue. I tried using other programs like zoom and it works perfectly well, but for some reason chrome or operagx do not recognize it. PLease help

It's probably something website-specific that is preventing things from working given that other programs DO work with it.

Sites like ome tv actively block and expressly forbid them by their terms of service.
