Question / Help OBS virtual cam not appearing in OBS v25.0.1

I am new to OBS and was having a problem getting Zoom to recognise the OBS virtual cam using OBS Studio 64bit, but found a utube video suggesting the need to switch back to the 32bit version. Having installed this, I now find it won't recognise OBS virtual cam, even though it did with the 64 bit version. Is there a 32bit version of OBS virtual Cam that I need, or is there a way to have the 64bit version of OBS studio, with OBS virtual cam installed able to be recognised by Zoom. I am wanting to be able to use my DSLR camera as a webcam, which is the ultimate aim of the whole exercise. Any help or pointers appreciated.

If you have a DSLR as camera, you probably get its video with the use of a hdmi capture card. This capture card is what you can configure with Zoom directly. It's the same device type as a webcam and can be used as such. If it's only the camera you want to use, you don't need OBS in the middle.

Thanks for the rapid response Koala. I am actually using digicam control to act as a software capture card, so need to pick this up in OBS to then feed into Zoom.

To use digitamcontrol as input for OBS, go to the digicamcontrol website into the download section and download their virtual webcam along with digicamcontrol itself. Virtual webcam seems brand new. Should then be available as Video Capture device within OBS.
