OBS video started freezing for about 7-10 seconds

I'm not sure what is causing a video freeze for a few seconds that randomly occurs every few minutes. I have a heavy duty graphics machine running WIN10. All the drivers are up to date. Here is the setup which I have used successfully for several weeks:

Camera is Samsung 10 connected to computer via USB running iVcam licensed software for video only stream.
iVcam is the input for Zoom call. iVcam window and zoom window show normal video streams without freezing.
Microphone is Yeti X set as system default.
OBS uses a Window Capture for the Zoom application for a scene. Zoom is set up with a digital background. Audio is captured via the Yeti X microphone with computer audio muted to avoid echo.

All video settings are standardized on 720p (720 lines) from the camera through iVcam, Zoom, and into OBS.
Window capture method is set for Windows 10 1903+

I am not using the rescaling options.

The issue happens when I am not broadcasting, when I do broadcast, and while recording.
All my computer resources are at very low utilization: SSD disk activity (less than 10%), CPU 10%, GPU (10%), Memory (10%), ethernet (less than 8Mbps on a gigabit port).
I see nothing that would indicate a resource bottleneck but something is happening inside OBS. Everything that feeds it runs fine.

Can anyone give me some advice on what may be causing OBS to choke.
