Question / Help OBS video issue

When I put the format for my video it was mp4 and it was an hour long game play. While I was playing the recording looked fine but then I got this message saying stopping recording so I it never stooped saying stopping recording so I pressed it and stooped the recording. When I went to documents the file was fine and it would play the video but it was showing a few frames and not the whole video. What should I do?

You shouldn't record in mp4. Any interruption leaves you with a lost file. Record in MKV or FLV and use the "Remux Recording" option from the File menu to convert to mp4 afterwards.
