OBS Video Capture Device Freezes When I try to Record

Hello, I've been trying to figure this out for weeks to no avail. I've searched forums, reddit and contacted elgato support but nothing and i believe the problem lies in obs. I'm trying to record mobile gameplay with my S7 Tablet connected to my Elgato HD60 S+ via an usb c to hdmi adapter. the problem is when i hit "start recording" the screen on obs freezes while it keeps recording. To get the connection working again i have to unplug the usb cable that connects the hd60 s+ to my pc. Keep in mind that i have tried using an ipad pro but the same thing happens when i try to record, now when i change settings on obs such as the encoder back and forth or the cq level in cqp it works temporally but the issue always comes back. I also changed the obs studio graphic preference to power saving from high performance and that seemed to work yesterday but today the freezing screen came back again when i hit "start recording". this has been so frustrating, if anyone has any solutions that have worked permanently for you i would greatly appreciate it! I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x 12-Core Processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

Hey Cyclemat thanks for the help! disconnecting most of the usb ports made it work with no issues, Hopefully i can still use the camlink alongside the hd60 s+ without the problem coming back but for now the main issue was solved thanks again
