OBS Video/Audio Syncing

I confess that I’m new to OBS, but this has to be the most aggravating equipment I have ever used. The very basic functions are totally useless because you cannot monitor them. Especially when trying to sync audio to video. Sync features don’t even function, no effect whatsoever. After losing count of YouTube videos I watched I was finally able to get the program to function enough to at least record in 720p at 30pfs Totally unusable for posting to YouTube. However, even after getting that far once I tried to use the program the next day everything was off again even though the settings had not been changed. Can someone please tell me why this program cannot perform its most basic functions?

This is a forum for users of OBS. Most will disagree with your conclusions that there is a problem with OBS.

OBS is a great system with huge possibilities but it will definitely take some time to understand all its features and capabilities.

Only way I found out to monitor audio/video sync is to either do a recording or a test stream.

If you don’t have the patience with OBS, I recommend you buy a license with vMix. You can probably buy 24/7 support as well.
