Just putting this out there, the amount of time to render a frame on v28 of OBS has little to no improvement on the time it takes to render a frame. When streaming at 1080P/60, a frame needs to be rendered in under 13ms to maintain 60 FPS.
Needless to say, complex scene rendering on a Mac Studio Ultra can barely handle 60fps. I can say, while the new method of screen capture has 'improved' it still has a significant hit on rendering.
As an example, I'm just streaming with a camera, and local desktop in the video below at 9000 KB/S to youtube.
