Obs vanished !

My Obs app vanished !

I installed and used it yesterday.

I switch off my Mac on the evening.

This morning when I opened the Mac, Obs had vanished…

What happened ?

What can I do to find it ?

Have a look in application folder. Click on finder then applications. If it was installed it should be in there.

I already did that. It is not there…

Then reinstall it again, make sure you check to see if exist in the application folder then reboot your Mac.

I did it. It worked but few hours later it diseapeard again !
There must be a problem,

Maybe a bug or a firewall security software on the Mac kept deleting it. If you have any security running be sure to trust and allow OBS.

When it does work can you save it to your dock? Just a thought.

My first guess is you are using OS High Sierra, which is several OS's ago. However, you did say it was working for a little while, so I don't know the answer. Did you check minimum requirements for OBS? Are you using a current OBS? If you're not current you may not be able to use certain filters and software they have created. If it's the beta version I have had problems where it won't let me do anything out of safe mode. I am using OS Ventura and OBS 29.1.3. Good luck!
