Bug Report OBS uses too much GPU (Nvidia)

Hi, when I open OBS, my GPU usage goes from 0% to about 25%. This is already when not recording, just by opening up OBS.

Here is a screenshot without OBS. My GPU usage is at 0%:

Here with OBS (1080p60 settings, but not recording):

I found out, that it takes less GPU when using a lower resolution / fps. Here with 720p30 settings:

Again: The screenshots are taken when OBS was NOT recording.

I tryed to disable the preview, but then my GPU usage (with 1080p60 settings) goes from about 25% to about 15%. This is still much.

I know, OBS does need some GPU, but not that much!
On Windows it takes about 2%, not more. On Linux 25%. This is a big difference, which costs me some FPS in games.

My system:
CPU: i7-7700
GPU: GTX 1060
OS: Manjaro Linux KDE
Kernel: 4.14

What are the clock speeds at? 25% load when the card hasn't clocked up (i.e. not enough load to trigger the speed increase) isn't abnormal.

I did the UNINGINE Superposition Benchmark. Yep, there is realy a difference. OBS is using that much GPU.
without OBS: 43 FPS
with OBS open (not recording): 34 FPS

"When OBS is open: 1569 Mhz" is your CPU speed? I had an issue with my Dell E6430 laptop the energy saving scheme in Debian 9.2 locked its 3ghz i7 to 1600Mhz changing the scheme and the CPU went full tilt.
