Question / Help OBS Upload Speed Difference

I am hoping somone can help me with this

In OBS, at the bottom right hand corner it is showing my upload to be 3229kb/s and when i go to speedtest.net it says i have 9.84MB.

Why is there such a big difference? how do I resolve this?

Hey,

you at most want to use 75% of your available upload. its under stream settings and its kbps. 1000kbps = 1mb.

so if you have 10mb up you want to maximum upload about 7000kbps. I suggest 6000/5000 max.
