OBS Update 28.0.3 Caused Mic/Aux & Desktop Audio to Route Improperly

Hello, my name is GrandpaClamps.

Just prior to updating to OBS 28.0.3, I had no audio issues.
PC sounds were being displayed in the "Desktop Audio" Audio Mixer, and Microphone sounds were displayed in the "Mic/Aux" Audio Mixer.

However, immediately after updating, PC (desktop audio) sounds are now being displayed in the "Mic/Aux" Audio Mixer, and there are no microphone signals being registered anywhere. Viewers can no longer hear me speak via microphone (they were able to just 3 minutes prior, before the update) & on top of that, it seems my microphone is not registering anywhere else on my PC.

I tried to speak via Discord, GOXLR's mic setup test, and even Sound Settings "Test Your Microphone" does not register any sound input from the microphone. Again, this all functioned normally just prior to that update. However, all three of these sources do register sounds from the desktop, such as when playing a youtube video, as though it were me speaking through the microphone. I have triple checked all audio Input & Output sources in: Sound Settings, OBS, Discord, and GOXLR.. and they are all appropriately routed.

Here is my OBS Log: https://obsproject.com/logs/ZF3yh4dS4x7Paegz

I can also post a log from just before updating if that would assist you. Thank you very much, your kindness is sincerely appreciated in my hour of need.

FIXED!! I did EVERYTHING... reinstalled new audio drivers on 20ish different things... checked every setting, every advanced setting, every audio filter, every noise gate and threshold, every input, every output, yadda yadda... (I was ONE step away from re-installing Windows at the request of a Microsoft support staff member; would have made me reinstall every app and setting on my PC...

What finally solved it was a 1-2 punch, and honestly I'm not sure the first punch mattered. But... I figured the OBS update MUST have messed something up in either my GoXLR or my mic's connection to GoXLR.

So first I uninstalled GoXLR completely, then re-installed it. Still didn't fix. Next, I unplugged my mic from the Cloudlifter (preamp), and plugged it directly into GoXLR (bypassing the Cloudlifter)... FIXED! I then plugged it back into the Cloudlifter... still fixed. So, long story short, somehow OBS broke the chain between my mic, the Cloudlifter, and GoXLR. All of this hassle (7ish hours of troubleshooting) because I updated to OBS Version 28.0.3
