OBS wont keep a stable connection to my internet, but I can load up xsplit and run 2500 bitrate 60fps with zero dropped frames no problems at all.
I've tried everything but OBS starts green, then just goes orange-yellow-red to 0kb/s then shoots back up to 3500 kbs and drops back to 2500. It's like my stream restarts itself while its already on.
The video base is 1920x1080 but downscaled to 1280x720, 30fps, bicubic
My internet should handle it, 100mbps down, 10mbps up.
My computers great, 6700k, gtx 1080, 16gb ram.
Deleted all settings/reinstalled obs twice.
Lowering or raising bitrate doesn't help.
It usually happens when I play a game like csgo or rocket league but even a card game like legends will drop frames.
I've had it run on high priority with admin privilege 64bit obs.
I've tried everything, anyone got anymore tips I could try out? I'm extra confused because other streaming programs work and my connection is all wired and very stable, QoS is enabled but didn't make any difference.
19:46:17.367: Output 'simple_stream': Total encoded frames: 1118
19:46:17.367: Output 'simple_stream': Total drawn frames: 1118
19:46:17.367: Output 'simple_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 182 (16.3%)
That's what my log says but I don't get why it's so unstable when other streaming platforms work great and testmy/google mlab/comcastspeed tests all have similar speed results.
