Hey there. Over the past few weeks I've had constant issues with streaming to Twitch through OBS (Streamlabs OBS as well). You could ask me if I've done this or that to try and fix things. Through a lot of testing whether that's by bandwidth testing or actual live streams, I've tried:
- Streaming to multiple servers.
- Lowering bitrates, fps and quality.
- Enabling/Disabling Dynamic Bitrate.
- Enabling/Disabling Network Optimizations.
- Updating Network Adapters.
- Disabling Firewall altogether and/or making exceptions.
- Changing/Upgrading Modem.
- Changing plans (to 1Gig plan, Unlimited data)
- Resetting modem, changing ethernet cables, coax cables, etc.
- Having multiple Technicians come out to resolve issues (apparently).
- Reinstalling Windows and/or OBS.
- Running less programs in background.
- Attempting to use restream.io, aside from normal Twitch option when choosing where to stream.
There's been much more than what I've listed that I've done but at the same time it's hard to remember them all, going through so many. Of course any re-suggestions is fine cause who knows, maybe I messed up.
The log attached (and for the most part these settings in the log is how I would normally run things) is but one of MANY tests where similar things, whether worse or not... have happened, and with all different tests- of course multiple settings have been changed such as the ones I listed above.
Something I have yet to try that was recently recommended to me was PingPlotter but it's mostly because I'm trying to insert the website/ingest server you would use alongside stream key but it doesn't... register correctly? Maybe I'm messing up on that too or misunderstood how to test connection to that.
Any help would be much appreciated wherever it can be given. I've been streaming for months absolutely fine in terms of internet connections before any of these issues started to come up, so I've been trying to figure out where/why this all started. Thank you!
