Question / Help OBS Turns On Inactive Webcam

I use two webcams on my PC.
One a C920 that I use with OBS and another Microsoft Lifecam that I use for other purposes and not with OBS.

Every time I start OBS it turns on my MS Lifecam
OBS lists it in the Webcam Properties/Device list as available.

I can still use my MS cam with other programs so obviously it's not in use by OBS..
Anyone have any idea why this happens.??

I'm guessing OBS probes the USB bus for compatible devices in order to populate the list of potential sources.

Probably because you are using some kind of audio device from the microsoft lifecam in settings -> audio.

I disabled DESKTOP AUDIO DEVICE TWO and the light went on...
