OBS to record gameplay & Movavi to edit. Need a replacment for Movavi

I looked at OBS to cut/splice/add audio to my gameplay videos and all I could figure out is to play a video on it.
Movavi used to be a great program but they're so money hungry / customer unfriendly I'm looking for a replacement. They used to have lead-in graphics and fun options but they've removed them and are charging a butt-load for what we used to get free.

What would you recommend for a tight budgeted retiree on a fixed income?
Or is it possible to do with OBS what I do with Movavi?

Thanks
Your opinions (friendly please) are greatly appreciated.

I use Wondershare Filmora to edit my videos. It isn't free but it isn't a lot either. I buy the perpetual license which means I own each version I purchase along with all updates until they release a new major version. I think we are on version 13 now. I have owned since version 11. Does most everything pretty easily and straightforward. I have used Davinci Resolve in the past but it wasn't easy to use at all. Massive learning curve. Adobe Premier was just as bad if not worse!!

Hope this helps!
