OBS Teleprompter app requires subscription to connect to camera or audio?

After configuring OBS Studio for the OBS teleprompter app via the Tools menu as per the video tutorials, I open the teleprompter app extension and on its blank black page I cannot see any green icon showing automatic connection to OBS Studio. Moreover, I discover that the Record video and Connect Remote Viewer icons on the bottom right are blocked, so that when I click on either of them, a popup message tells me these features require a premium subscription. I thought that OBS Studio and its teleprompter app were free and open source, so clearly I am missing something. Screen shot attached.

OBS Studio don't have a teleprompter feature.
You probably installed a plugin that adds this to OBS. You should contact the dev of this plugin in order to get assistance over it.
