OBS takes to long to reconnect after internet downage

I have spectrum internet, and of course, there are routine internet downages. After failed attempts at reconnecting, OBS waits a minute or longer to reconnect, even when the internet reconnects. I set auto reconnect retry delay at 2 seconds and max retries at 100, but it reconnect attempts keeping getting longer. How do I fixt this? Thanks.

I'm guessing that you are not a native English speaker? I've never heard of 'downage' ... 'downtime' or 'outage'- yes
I ask only so that I (and others) may be careful to not use unfamiliar abbreviations or shorthand

what are you doing for real-time networking utilization of your LAN and the WAN connection? I ask, as other activity on the network may be blocking sufficient data throughput (within latency/jitter thresholds) on upload, whereas consumer ISPs focus on downstream (to you) traffic.

You asking for too much techy stuff. Im just asking is there a setting to stop OBS from waiting to long to reconnect to the internet after a disconnect.

ok simple answer
fix your Internet connection (yes, it is the problem, not OBS) and problem will go away. It's taking too long as the connection problem persists ... OBS Studio does not have a magic way to fix your Internet connection for you

i feel the same they more longer i wish there is button for retry now ahaha :)) or at least they not growth each time
