OBS super laggy (Please help)

I'm really new to OBS and I've been trying to record a few videos, but whenever I do, they are insanely laggy and low quality. I have no clue what I'm doing, so I thought that it'd be the best idea to just ask. Thank you!

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

It works a bit better, but there will still be massive lag spikes that make the video annoying to watch.

1. Run OBS as Admin. Right click on shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
2. If available, use the Quick Sync Video (QSV) encoder instead of x264.
