Ive been usig OBS for a while to stream and recently i started using to record a lets play series. I have had 0 problems with it up until thursday.
When i opened OBS on thursday it was noticeably laggy and i could see in the status bit it was at 80% or more cpu and running around 6fps. ON top of this when its open it now lags my entire laptop.
I have done a clean unistall and reinstall and the problem still persists,
ive also followed a variety of guides to lowering the cpu usage but nothing has worked, even sticking it on ultra fast changes nothing
I'm at my wits end, OBS is a program i want to use, its the best option but currently i cant even have it open
I have an MSI gx60 laptop
CPU: AMD a10-4600
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970m
