So lately I have been having problems with my OBS recordings. I have been using studio on my computer for a few months and it used to work fine. I streamed Destiny to YouTube with no trouble but lately I started trying to record Minecraft and it wasn't too much in game lag but when I watched the recording it was so glitchy. It wasnt the quality it just wasnt smooth I kept changing my setting and watching many best settings videos. I also took the settings from a few OBS forums and still no luck. I tried classic and same problem. I heard some people say settings varied from what game you are playing but when I went back to start streaming Destiny again it didnt work for Destiny either which it previously did. I tried Destiny with the old settings that used to work and some other settings but it just doesnt work like it used too. Here are my log files.

Well since some recent updates of the Nvidia drives both on windows and Linux capturing anything made wiith OpenGL makes OBS suffer like crazy....

If your Nvidia drivers are up to date and above 369.XX

Welcome to the club pal ...

The OBS developers don't fix NVIDIA driver issues. That said there are some big configuration problems in the log files you posted.

- Set OBS and your game to run on your NVIDIA GPU instead of the Intel iGPU. Read https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/

- If you're just recording, use the recording quality presets in Simple output mode (Settings > Output > dropdown box at the top) and set the encoder to QSV.

- Enable vsync or some other type of frame rate limiter in your game. You may also need to run your games at a lower resolution, since a 960M isn't going to drive many games on a 4K display. The goal is not to max out the GPU.

Is the obs producers trying to fix it?
Nope because they are not responsible for Nvidia's shortcomings

Plus other than waiting on Nvidia to get their act together there is nothing they can really do other than yelling at them ...

I have issues capturing GL based games as well right now but after massive trouble shooting yep Nvidia is culprit here not OBS ...

You have a point. But do you think that Nvidia will ever try to fix this.

You should do what was suggested so far and if the problem continues, post an updated log.
