OBS suddenly started halting on exit

OBS started behaving badly fro no apparent reason. When I click on exit it empties all frames except main window and halts. I have to kill it. when started again it starts normally, but on exit it halts and that goes around.

I do not remember installing anything (plugins or scripts) for a while.

Same happens if I try to switch Scene Collection.

OBS is version 27.2.4

Well, interesting.

If I add -l parameter to Target in shortcut icon, OBS does not halt. It does have some delay on exit but it does exit. If I remove -l OBS halts on exit.

Did not last long. OBS again started halting on exit regardless of the -l parameter.

I even tried to install portable version in separate directory. Startedit, itloaded (and recognized my scene settings from regular install), and on exit it halted too.

Since I have zero response on the forum and on GIT they say they do not do support, where should I go to ask for some help?

Well, it seems I sorted it out. It was hard. I even uninstalled OBS including all user settings.

Then I copied configuration form backup and removed various stuff until I hit one scene that caused issue. It was scene including virtual webcam that I did not even used. It was just on the list, deactivated.

As there was no error message, or errors in log it was blind guess. And to make things more complicated I had to run OBS at least twice after removing one item to be sure that it would load everything as expected.

It was really nasty experience. I did not even managed to restore all OBS configuration yet, just made it to work.

Issues I met with:

- OBS halts on exit with no error message or note in log. Not a single clue what may cause issues.

- I could not disable suspecting items. I had to delete them: scripts, plugins, scenes, devices...

- I could not even check which plugins are installed. There is no list and plugins are al placed in same directory as other vital OBS DLL-s so I could not know which one is which.
