obs suddenly not responding or working properly

I've been using obs for months and the problem of not responding never happened
and since I got an elgato capture card, that's been fine

but suddenly today there's no picture when recording ps4, sometimes just black, sometimes I get "wait a moment"

It says I have obs opened more than once, but I can't seem to end the task of one

There's a second instance of OBS running at the same time. Please close OBS, then close the second instance from the task manager and try again.
