Hello lovely people!

Hope you are well,

Equipment:

Studio lights
Software: OBS Studio
Cam: Logitech C920
GPU: GTX 1080 FTW
CPU: i7 6700K
RAM: 16GB Corsair Veng
Xbox One
ElGato HD 60 S

I'm having issues within OBS where my game play isn't smooth on stream for some reason and i have no idea why. My PC is quite good and should be able to support streaming from my Xbox One using an ElGato HD 60S Capture Card. I'm aware that my bitrate at 6000 is high, i've beena advised due to my internet speeds I should be able to support it (could be completely wrong haha). I also have an issue with my camera going blurry with high motion in the background (see below) and lastly a issue with my camera exposure changing depending on how far or close i sit to the cam (also below)

Heres an example of the stuttering that I see on stream etc:

I see a lot of people posting Log files so i'm going to also, dunno what they mean but yeah hahaha

Please let me know if you need anymore information, thanks in advance!

The log itself doesn't show any stuttering. I have seen some similar complaints, though, about users who moved up to the Elgato HD60 S from the cheaper model and got higher resolution but also some stutter.

If your log showed any rendering lag I'd say reduce your canvas resolution to 1080p (since you're scaling to 900p anyway).. but you aren't.

Can the HD60S capture at 59.94 instead of 29.97? Does the effect then go away, stay the same, or get worse?

Do you have another capture device to test?

Try disabling automatic "White balance", "Gain" and potentially "exposure", in your C920 Logitech software. Setting these manually should fix the wonky brightness issues.
