Thank you for stopping by, hopefully i can this issue resolved!
Lets start with the PC specs;
Currently using a Threadripper 1950x, clocked at 3.9 ghz on all cores. 32GB Ram clocked at 2933 mhz, 1080TI, and the rest of pretty static, such as an AIO for the CPU, SSDs and HDDs, etc. So Temp throttling is not an issue.
Now to the problem, i only recently built said PC and had decided to up my quality from 720p 30FPs to 1080p 60fps (Base canvas 2560x1440), on x.254 encoder set to medium preset, and boy, does it run like a champ in PUBG and Escape from Tarkov! So, it wasn't until attempting to stream some more Overwatch that I noticed my OBS FPS counter dipping hard, under the 30s. Whats unusual is when i minimize the game, OBS is still capturing the game and showing a solid steady 60FPS. Jump back in game and down goes the FPS.
My in-game FPS is at a solid 144hz, matching up with my 144hz monitor, though OBS just wont maintain 60 fps. CPU usage is fairly low as well as ram usage.
Heres the fix i found (Though i am far from happy with it) is to simply Cap my ingame FPS to 60 and the OBS FPS stays SOLID, anything above 60 and down goes OBS FPS. Which kinda defeats the purpose of having a 144hz monitor, granted my 2nd monitor is a 1080p 60hz used for stream quality control.
Here is my log file - https://gist.github.com/anonymous/865a16b1c5338d50bb230c0a83a336fe
So, perhaps someone here could help me out, i will grant brownie points to those who can help :D
