Question / Help OBS Studio won't record.

Just as the title states, my OBS Studio won't record. Streaming works fine when I live stream my gameplays on twitch but when I want to record gameplay to edit and post on youtube the record feature doesn't seem to work. I would press on start recording but nothing happens. THe button doesn't even change to say "Stop recording" to let me know that it even started. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance for your responses.

Certainly. took awhile to find, sorry. If it helps at all. I have an nvidia geforce 970. i made sure all the drivers were up to date, all windows drivers up to date as well.

Try with OBS in simple output mode, recording of indistinguishable quality with encoder of software low cpu use or one of the hardware encoders.

hey im having some trouble with my obs recording aswell
