Question / Help OBS Studio with Roxio Game Capture & Nintendo Wii

Hello. I have a older Roxio Game Capture Card its not the HD version, only component.

USB 2.0-Port
Component-Video
Stereoaudio (2 x RCA)

Input:
Video: AVI, DV-AVI, MOV, WMV, DivX, MP4
Audio: MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC

Now i have the problem that i want to record my Nintendo Wii (PAL) + Micro for comments but the quality is not so good.
When i record with the Roxio Game Capture tool i am only able to record the game sound and not my mic and i have black bars around the video, maybe because of the 852×480 ?

When i try to record my gameplay with OBS Classic iam not able to set correct video settings or resolution. With OBS Studio the video quality is better than with Roxio Game Capture, and i can zoom or stretch the video to hide the black bars but the Audio is poor and sounds ugly.

It seems that Roxio Game Capture is capturing with 29.970 FPS with NTSC_M and thats the only mode i can use to record. The thing is i dont know the best settings for my setup. If its possible i want the maximum of quality thats doable :D

I see that you uses Creative SB X-Fi sound card and mic attached to it, isn't it? So, problems goes when you record this mic, attached to your PC? Can you try to record only mic without any video in obs (just blank scene)?

I fixed it by connecting the Audio separately via a cable from Roxio Game Cap Device to the Line-In of my Sound Card.
So i think the problem is not the Game Capture Device, it has to do with OBS. Because with the original Capture Program the sound was good and now via Line-In i have also good sound.

I hope that you can fix this.
