Question / Help Obs Studio - Win 10 - Windows Apps Black

Windows apps like calculator don't seem to want to show up, on any of my OBS on any of my systems, through any means other than a display capture.

Other things will, notepad, mirc, etc, all through window capture, but apps like calculator or new heart rate app, nope.

How fix?

log at: https://pastebin.com/MPq4cV2P (though that's only one machine, I can't fix this on any of the 4 machines I've tried)

I can't game capture them either. How else other than to display capture? I'd expect being able to capture some basic built in programs like Calculator would be... you know. doable?

And is this a feature that will be addressed (soon) ?

It's not something that can be addressed. If it's not a direct3d or opengl game, and it comes from the windows store, it can ONLY be captured by display capture because microsoft has gone out of its way to block window capture.

Any changes after almost 18 months in this matter? Capturing Windows Store Apps would be useful. Is there any workaround (different than display capture) at this point?
