Question / Help OBS Studio Update to 21.0.1 failing...

...with the error message "avutil-55.dll is still in use. Close all programs and try again." I've restarted the computer and tried to update (iOBS Studio is already set to run in administrator mode) with no luck. I'd love to upgrade to the latest version, but seem to be stuck--can anyone help?

Solved the problem--I moved avutil-55.dll out of the OBS folder and on to my desktop, and had to do the same thing with swscale.dll. Then I downloaded and ran the 21.1.1 installer, which went through with no issues (and created the two .dll files in the OBS folder again, as I had assumed it would do). When I then tried to delete the two .dlls from my desktop, it said both were still in use...by Avermedia RECentral, for my Avermedia LGP which I haven't had installed on this system for almost a year. Uninstalled that, then had no problems deleting the .dlls. Now I know to check for Avermedia stuff hanging around if that situation pops up in the future!
