Hi,

Ever since the 19.02 update we have been experiencing problems with severe lag. We've used several different settings and nothing has worked. Before the newest update we were recording in 1080p, but the new update has removed the setting we used in Output/recording, and we cannot find a good setting anymore.

If we could get some help that would be much appreciated!

Here are the logs: https://gist.github.com/a727d4f8f55cc1908d2652df8bc44e62

If there is anything else to help I will provide it.

Thank You,

Nope, we have not done that. That's the "Game bar", correct? We use the Xbox app in order to stream what's on our Xbox, that wouldn't affect it I would imagine? Not sure if there's another way to record gameplay without the Xbox app.

Oh, okay. I just disabled that. Anything else you recommend? Do you believe my CPU is strong enough to handle very fast or should I go ultra fast? I really appreciate your help.

Okay, cool. I turned off gaming mode and set it up as CBR, 1920x1080 canvas and output, 30fps, and veryfast but it still gives that error. The bitrate I'm not 100% sure on, but I believe there's an equation to figure it out. I'm trying to find it. When I change it to 720, however, it uses only up to 65% and there isn't that error message. I know my laptop can handle 1080, it has before the update. I'm just really conuzzled right now.

I had the task manager running while using OBS and my Xbox app to monitor the performance and processes, and I found out that the CPU usage that's presented in the Task Manager is much lower than what OBS says when I get that encoding error. Is there more to it than I know?
