Question / Help OBS Studio Text Taking Up Two Lines When Scrolling

So a little problem I'm having with Studio that I wasn't having before.

I have a set box in my overlay for text, specifically song info.

In old OBS no matter how long the text was, it would be contained to one line and you could enable scroll to see all of the text before it repeats.

In new OBS, even if you're enabling scroll, if the text is longer than the dimensions of the box, it will drop to a second line of text.

As you can imagine, this makes fitting longer text into a box with specific dimensions pretty problematic.

I've attached a screenshot to give an example of what I'm referring to. In old OBS, the text would fit perfectly into the overlay box I have and simply scroll the text that doesn't fit within the text box. Is there a setting I'm simply missing?

'ello! The trick is to ignore the 'custom text width' option in the Text source. Set it to 0.

Instead, use the 'limit text width' under the filters>scroll options

Now it should be all be on one line.

"This is perfect and was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks so much!!" ?

This makes no sense and does not work either.
Therefore, I don't understand the "thanks"
