Question / Help OBS Studio Stuttering(during gameplay only)

I have a problem. I try to use OBS Studio for streaming and it seems to stutter only during gameplay. Just the video output stutters, not the game. In this video I play Wolfenstein live on both OBS Studio and OBS Classic and show my Settings for both and no matter how much I downgrade, OBS Studio continues to stutter(once again, only during gameplay). OBS Classic Works perfectly and with higher output settings on so I have no clue why OBS Studio is stuttering.

Try OBS Studio portable mode in different folder (from the log: by some reason the application cannot access its settings folder): https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-and-obs-studio-portable-mode-on-windows.359/ or maybe something blocking OBS Studio application?

Also, can you post full log-file from this recording attempt?

I wasn't running it in portable mode. Or at least I didn't think so.

Is this happens only to that game or to any?

The error from the log:

06:50:11.249: [game-capture: 'Wolfenstein'] gl_shtex_capture: failed to get last fbo: 1280

If it happens only to this game, you may try to:

1. Run the game fullscreen
2. Check Multi-adapter compatibility option in 'Game Capture' properties
3. Change Settings>Renderer to OpenGL
4. Reduce settings in the game itself
5. Disable third party software that can capture or display own overlays (if any)

This also happens to the game Doom. When I change the Render Settings to OpenGL it slows down the game as well.

The log lacks recording session in it. Have you other log-file to post?

About the Doom that also uses (usually) OpenGL renderer itself, you may find some info there: Laggy gameplay recordings and 1-2 FPS when streaming DOOM

You should never enable multi-adapter compatibility except if you are using SLI/Crossfire. And also never switch to the OpenGL renderer on windows.

...and don't use OpenGL renderer on windows in the games too (especially if you not running pro video cards).

Well, then why does OBS Classic run perfectly? No problems what so ever. I will post a log for recording too.
