Question / Help OBS studio streams/records game weirdly

I have a hard time explaining this. When I try to record any game, it looks way darker/lighter than it should be and way more saturated than it should be on start up. When I downloaded OBS studio, it was like that from the beginning, and no matter how many times I delete it and reinstall it still does it. I tried to put on a color correction filter on it, but it does not fix the problem. I asked on Discord on how to fix it, and was told about VLC media player, but that does not help either. Please help. I used the free bandicam to help take pictures to show the problem a bit better. The first 1-4 pictures is what OBS sees and records. The 4-8 pictures is what I'm trying to record. https://obsproject.com/logs/Emn1-egfGb7wMRkL (log files)

It shows you have a color filter on your game capture source. Is this the cause? Right-click on your game capture source -> filters -> click the eye on the color filter to turn it off.

Thank you for responding. I probably, should have also put some pictures up of what it looks like without the color correction filter. I put it on because it did look bad without one. I'll also add that this happens to any game that I play. 3 More photos have been added showing what it looks like without a filter. On the left of the image is the game, to the right is what OBS sees, and the bottom right shows that there's no filter currently (now) which strangely looks exactly what the game should look like. You can even see in the background how the tree goes from yellow to a orangish red.

Does this game, by any chance, have an in-game brightness adjustment that actually just alters the monitor gamma setting?

I'm wondering if that between the game, your OS, and your monitor, there's something going on where you're brightening things in a way that OBS is unaffected by. Not sure.

I'd like to thank you Narcogen and carlmmii for taking the time to continue to respond to me! I did notice that the game had a gamma bar which was set at 22. I messed with it a little bit, and it looks the best at 37 gamma (on OBS). In game it doesn't look very good. I also decided I'd take some TF2 pictures to show that it happens with any game that I try to use OBS on. I'm wondering if maybe if I delete OBS and redownload it (factory reset style) maybe that might work??? If so, I wouldn't know how to do that; other than delete the icon and reinstall it via the website.
