OBS Studio sometimes can get stuck and not close properly

Sometimes obs will refuse to start recording after starting and stopping a recording

when this happens and I exit obs the icon stays in my system tray and the process is still there, clicking on the icon does nothing and attempting to open obs again will warn me that its already open
