Question / Help OBS Studio Settings/Help

Hey there Guys,

Sorry for posting this again, but i was told OBS Classic will not be updated (etc.) anymore, so i decided to put

the Thread in the right Spot ;).

I was streaming on a totally outdated PC with 2,3~ MB Upload and had barely issues with it. The In and Output was totally

fine.

Now i got myself a new System : intel core i5-7600 3,5GHz kaby lake
KFA2 Geforce 1070 8GB
16GB DDR4 RAM
Gigabyte H270-HD3-CF

and i got some Issues with the Settings. In CSGO for example i tend to get a higher Ping than usual. It is still playable

(Ping is around 70-110), but it shouldnt happen at all. Old System never gave me Ping issues, ever and i am wondering why.

If i start to stream PARAGON, i have no issues at all. No Ping drops, no lags, no nothing. Perfectly smooth.

I also streamed For Honor and there i got an insanely pixelated Picture, for whatever reason. Every Game seems to run

different and i don't really know what to do. I need some Help with my Settings and i need the Help from you Guys !

I'd highly appreciate any Information/Help !

Thanks in advance ! <3

You can have the fastest CPU, lots of memory, best Nvidia GPU in the world. But thats not going to matter one bit if you are streaming over a slow, unreliable public WIFI connection.
Your SpeedTest shows you are doing this from the Cologne Hotspot network which is a public WiFi network.

Try setting the Output Resolution at its lowest value (640x360) and work your way up the list. However, you have to think about the people who are watching your stream. If the quality is not good, few people are going to want to watch it. You need a faster connection.

Well. I do not think you're right. That's just the Speedtestand not the connection i stream from :D
Also, as i described at the start of the Thread, i was able to stream.
I know i won't be able to stream in FULL HD with 2,3 MB Upload, but i can Stream in a fairly decent Quality.
Proof is, that i already did it, for about 2 years and i started with 0,9MB Upload, which also worked ( ofc quality was terribad :D ).
Next time think twice, before you post such an unreliable answer and save yourself some Time.

There are LOG Files, which i cannot analyse to see what the Problem is. That's why i am here in this Forum.
I actually think someone can basically analyse them correctly and maybe come up with a solution unlike yours.

first log
1280x720x30fps 1600 kbps verifats high profile
23:24:50.197: Output 'adv_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 191 (0.1%) ---> CPU at its limit
23:24:50.198: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 59 (0.0%) ---> GPU at its limit
23:24:50.198: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 58 (0.0%) --> NETWORK issues

You tryed to stream CSGO, I think (name of the scene) and game caputer was trying to hook
21:53:28.830: [game-capture: 'CSGO'] attempting to hook process: OrionClient-Win64-Shipping.exe

second attempt
23:24:50.197: Output 'adv_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 191 (0.1%)
23:24:50.198: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 59 (0.0%)
23:24:50.198: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 58 (0.0%)

Second log:
01:34:27.616: Output 'adv_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 233 (0.1%)
01:34:27.616: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 93 (0.0%)
01:34:27.616: Output 'adv_stream': Number of dropped frames due to insufficient bandwidth/connection stalls: 197 (0.1%)

How to solve your lag problems?: reduce ingame graphics needs and / or limit fps via VSync or console command (I´ve played CSGO 720x480x20 FPS. So, 1920x1080x60fps -stream rescaled to 720p30fps- is good and playable)
