Sorry, what I was implying was that perhaps you should stick with the Simple Output Mode and/or the x264 encoder where you don't need to define the NVENC preset and profile. The guide uses Simple Output Mode and x264 (visible in its pictures), even if it doesn't explicitly call those out in the text instructions.

I'm not sure NVENC will look very good at bitrates that low (4K and below). Is there a particular reason you want or need to use NVENC to stream to Facebook?

My in-game FPS will drop to around 56-58 fps and My CPU cooler fan (Intel stock cooler) will spin louder when using x264. On the other hand, why is my Facebook live stream pixelated (can't see in-game text clearly) when live? After I'm done streaming and waiting for a while, it become clearer (just like in-game graphic quality). I noticed my Facebook live stream videos had been proccessed into different video qualities: 240p, 360p, and 720p. Why is it like this?

Is that when using NVENC? If so...

Hardware encoders generally require a ton of bitrate compared to x264 to look good. Motion in the frame will be blurry at low bitrates. With no motion, the picture should be clearer, which sounds like what you're describing.

If you're having issues, please post a complete log file from a streaming session that shows the issues that you're describing. I should have asked for that first.

Yes it is when using NVENC and x264 x too. I noticed the picture is clearer with no motion as you mentioned. Here's the log file: https://gist.github.com/59731572cf8ac3283267067a6b5945db

That log file doesn't show a streaming attempt. Try to start streaming, wait 30-60 seconds, then stop streaming, and then upload your log file.

Ok I upload my last log file.

Use "Upload Current Log File" if you just stopped streaming and OBS Studio is still open. Use "Upload Last Log File" if you already closed OBS Studio and reopened it, and the last time OBS Studio was open was when you were having problems.

Your video bitrate is a bit low. You can increase it to 4000. I'm still not sure NVENC will look good at bitrates that low, but 4000 is the maximum video bitrate Facebook allows.

It doesn't look fine when I broadcast live video. After I end live video, it takes times to be processed and become clearer. Should I send you my live lideo link immediately to have a look?

The video being processed afterwards is normal. If the video isn't clear to you when viewing and streaming, that sounds like your downloaded stream is downscaled by Facebook, but the content they're receiving is fine. Maybe your internet connection or PC can't keep up with downloading and viewing the stream while also streaming. Are you watching your own stream from the same computer, a different computer, or a mobile device?

I have 30mbps download speed and 10mbps upload speed. How come cannot keep up with downloading and viewing the stream while also streaming? I'm watching my own stream from the same computer and mobile device.

I said maybe. It's one possibility of many. Even though your Internet service is quoted as 30 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up, you might not be getting stable service at those levels.

Have you tried Simple Output Mode for this to see if that works any better?

To be honest, I'm about out of ideas for general troubleshooting. I don't stream to Facebook.
