Question / Help OBS Studio Scene Freeze Mid Stream

So today is the first instance of the issue where everytime I go live, my instance of OBS locks up on the scene, says that it's still streaming, but all sources say offline. The audio levels continue moving live as well as the live time but the scene completely freezes and the program needs to be relaunched. After about another 10-15 minutes, the program crashes again.

Note that up until today, I have never had an issue with any settings or the such within OBS.

Windows recently auto updated itself to AU 1607 and I have read the pinned post, but I'm wondering if there is potentially any work around or the such as I'm really needing this to be back up and working ASAP.

Thanks for any help in advance!

This has been happening to me for weeks and I hate it
I tried using Classic instead and got the same glitch, BUT I got an error message along with it

Texture->Map failed: 0x887a0005 0x887a0006

Your video card or driver froze and was reset. Please check for possible hardware / driver issues. This error can also occur if you have enabled opencl in x264 custom settings

Don't know if this helps but it's better than nothing

Your log file does not show the typical signs of the Windows 10 AU issue detailed in the PSA sticky. You might be having an unrelated issue. Does this still happen to you if you run OBS Studio with a fresh Profile and Scene Collection? What about if you run OBS Studio 64-bit?

@Jmonteiro94
As the PSA sticky notes:
This is also confirmed to occur in OBS Classic, so using that is not a viable workaround.

Everyone else:
If you think you are having the Windows 10 AU issue outlined in the PSA sticky, there are several workarounds listed there that you can try. If none of them work for you, I recommend posting your own new thread (with complete logs please!) and describing the issue that you're experiencing. Additionally, mention if you've tried any of the workarounds, and whether or not they worked for you.

Already started my own post. But no answers so i started replying on this one.

https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-freezing-since-i-updated-obs.55756/

I can't downgrade / rollback windows versions because i disabled that function in the OS and system restore points because of my SSD.
However i am on the AU update for months now. And the problems actually started when i pressed "update obs to 16.2"
I never had the problem with 15.2, gonna downgrade right now and do a test stream and see how it goes.

The problem appeared before 0.16, there was no obs update when this started happening. 0.15.4 had been out for a while.

Yeah my mistake. I just finished testing stuff on 15.2 I really think its the windows update indeed. It's not just the AU update, its like of the smaller fixes like mentioned in the sticky post.
Same "freeze" however now it actually shows it in the logs:

12:53:40.725: device_texture_create (D3D11): Failed to create 2D texture (887A0005)

However in the newer OBS it doesn't show up in my logs(16.2), however it still freezes in both 15.2 and 16.2 the same way.

Here is the log of 15.2:

16.2:

Edit:

However, when i stream in 30FPS i don't seem to have any freezing. How can this be?

@RytoEX, I just rolled back Windows to pre AU last night, but didn't get to test as I was rendering videos. I should hopefully be running a test stream tonight when I get a chance and I'll let you know.
